DeEvening Links: Who’s got a groundhog?

The one and only Punxsutawney Phil. (Associated Press)
Tomorrow is Groundhog Day. And it seems we might have our own groundhog for once. HuffPo’s Arin Greenwood reports on the efforts of one Aaron DeNu, who was as of yesterday trying to procure a groundhog for a Dupont Circle shadow-seeing exercise. DeNu’s been having some trouble, seeing as the species is usually hibernating this time of year. “The whole thing is we want to do this humanely,” DeNu told Greenwood. “We didn’t want to go disturb a groundhog’s hibernation.”
