DeEvening Links: Who’s next?

With the Harry Thomas Jr. prosecution largely behind us, the question for the feds is, who’s next? U.S. Attorney Ronald C. Machen Jr. isn’t telling, of course. “We take our time, but we understand there’s a sense of urgency,” he said contradictorily on WAMU-FM’s Politics Hour today. Do know, he said, that his prosecutors are working “nights and weekends” on these investigations. “We’re not dragging our feet,” he said. “We’re working very hard.”
