Bryce Harper batting seventh in home debut

It is a Chamber of Commerce day for Bryce Harper’s home debut at Nationals Park. Harper arrived with a teammate at about 1:15 p.m., greeted at the players’ parking lot by about 20 people. He signed autographs for each one of them and posed for pictures.

Harper will bat seventh and play left field

Also, Ryan Zimmerman went on to shallow right field to play catch with trainer Lee Kuntz, his first baseball activity since landing on the disabled list with an inflamed joint in his right shoulder.
