Bryce Harper left Sunday’s game against the Greensboro Grasshoppers in his first Hagerstown plate appearance when he was hit by a pitch in what appeared to be his lower left leg.
After he was hit by the first pitch of the at-bat, Harper, who is batting .338 batting average and team-high 13 home runs, fell back and to the ground. As a trainer and Suns Manager Brian Daubach came to check on him, Harper grabbed his feet with his arms, seemingly trying to stretch his legs.
But when he got up, Harper seemed a bit shaken up and limped to the dugout. Following the inning, he walked from the dugout to the clubhouse without a noticeable hobble.
More on Harper’s apparent injury to come.
