Bryce Harper: When should Nationals bring him up?

View Photo Gallery: This year’s spring training is the most highly anticipated one since baseball returned to Washington, as the Nationals head into the season brimming with talent and potential.

Columnist Thomas Boswell believes it would make sense for 19-year-old Bryce Harper to be called up by the Washington Nationals in late April.

At first, I thought [Davey] Johnson was crazy, pushing too hard for a player who struggled a bit at Class AA last year and has made too many look-at-me headlines. Give him a half-year more, at least, in the minors. What’s the harm? But I’m changing my mind.
