Game 104 discussion thread: Nationals vs. Marlins

If any good news has come out of the Nationals’ four-game losing streak, it’s that Ryan Zimmerman is starting to look more like Ryan Zimmerman. He’s 9 for 22 in the Nationals’ past five games, and he would have had a four-hit game last night if not the running, leaping catch Mike Stanton made last night on the warning track. “I’m starting to hit the ball a little bit better,” Zimmerman said.

Speaking of hitting the ball better, John Lannan will start for the first time since hitting his first career home run. Lannan, still a .105 career hitter, is 4 for his last 6. More importantly, the Nationals are 10-4 in his last 14 starts. On a four-game losing streak, the Nationals could use another strong performance.

As always, talk about the game right here.
