The Nationals tonight will begin a six-game road trip that will get interesting once they arrive in Atlanta. The Braves would have played the Mets this weekend, but the impending Hurricane Irene forced the Mets to cancel both games, Saturday and Sunday. The Braves, then, will be able to set their rotation however they please.
As for tonight, Chien-Ming Wang will make his sixth start. He has settled into the rotation after an understandably uneven beginning, with the Nationals winning the last three starts he has made. He’ll try to break a three-game losing streak, and he’ll only do so if the Nationals offense shows signs of life against Dontrelle Willis following their three-run output over the last three games.
As always, talk about the game right here.
