The Nationals are trying to pull out of their worst stretch of the season, a span of five losses in six games that has dropped them to last place by 1 ½ games. The least surprising thing about their current tailspin is the setting. The Nationals, after going 28-53 on the road last season, are now 10-17 on the road this season. For the non-mathematically inclined, the Nats are 38-70 the past two years away from Nationals Park.
They’ve got two more games to improve their road performance, starting tonight with Livan Hernandez facing Chris Narveson. Talk about the game right here.
