Game 61 discussion thread: Nationals at Giants

The last time the Nationals played without Jayson Werth, which was Friday night, they were shut out. And the last time they faced Giants starter Jonathan Sanchez, which was in late May, they scored one run despite 11 runners reaching base on either a walk or a hit by pitch over the course of the game. So it could be an interesting offensive night for the Nationals.

Jordan Zimmermann will try to continue his stellar string of starts. He’s allowed three or fewer earned runs while pitching at least six innings in five straight starts. The Nationals are tying to even their record on this road trip at 3-3, which wouldn’t be so bad.

As always, talk about the game right here.
