The last time the Nationals played the Padres, the games unfolded exactly how you would expect. They scored three runs, three runs and nine runs combined in the three games, two of which the Padres run. With theses offenses, probably the two worst in the National League, playing at the canyon that is Petco Park, do not expect runs aplenty this weekend.
For Livan Hernandez, it would be an upgrade if the Nationals scored one measly run tonight. Hernandez brings a 3.76 ERA into the game tonight, but he’s also got seven losses. The Nationals have been shutout in five of his 13 starts, including four of the past six. The Nationals will try to do better against Aaron Harang tonight.
As always, talk about the game right here.
