Long toss: Battle for center field

Yesterday Adam blogged that the center field competition is “pretty wide open.”

... the Nationals remain undecided about who will emerge from the competition between Rick Ankiel, Roger Bernadina and incumbent Nyjer Morgan and win the center field job.

Commenters’ opinions are all over the place. For example, JamesFan2 said:

My guess is that [Nyjer] will not make the necessary adjustments to stay, but he should be given the chance. Bernie has huge hitting and fielding weaknesses and Ankiel is nice but temporary.

What do you think? Who is winning the battle for center field?
