Chien-Ming Wang will take the mound on Sunday in search of his first win in more than a month. He is hoping to even his record at 3-3 and has had no decisions in four of his past five starts.
Wang got his last victory against Cincinnati on Aug. 16, when he allowed four runs on seven hits in 6 1/3 innings of a 6-4 win. He has only faced the Marlins once before, allowing four runs on nine hits in seven innings of a 6-5 win for the New York Mets – on June 23, 2006.
The Nationals continue to chase that elusive 42nd win at Nationals Park, which would set a new mark for victories at home this season. Discuss today’s game right here.
