It’s early. The players trickled in to the clubhouse around 8:30 a.m., just over nine hours after finishing last night’s game. Right-hander Edwin Jackson (4-4, 3.57 ERA) hopes to rebound from his worst start of the season when he gave up eight runs in three innings. He opposes left-hander Madison Bumgarner (10-4, 2.85 ERA). For the Giants, this game feels like an 8 a.m. start.
As always, talk about the game here. Happy Fourth of July.
