Nationals at Mets: Game 146 discussion thread

(LARRY DOWNING - REUTERS)
The Nationals do not have a whole lot to play for, but with their victory last night they crept closer to two accomplishments. By winning their 68th game, the Nationals moved one away from their 2010 victory total. They also inched to within two games of third place, currently owned by the Mets. The Nationals have never finished above fourth.

They key tonight could be how Chien-Ming Wang starts. Wang has a 12.38 ERA in the first inning, and a 3.78 ERA otherwise. It would also help if the Nationals scored some runs – they’ve posted more than four in just four of their past 20 games.

As always, talk about the game right here.
