Nationals at Phillies: Game 152 discussion thread

(Patrick McDermott - GETTY IMAGES)
Over the next three days, the Nationals will have the rare chance to take a season series from the Phillies. After winning five of their last seven games against Philadelphia, the Nationals are 6-8 versus the Phillies this season with four games to play. The Phillies have absolutely nothing to play for – at 98-54 they’ve already clinched the National League’s best record, an impressive feat with 10 games remaining.

In Game 1 of today’s doubleheader, Shane Victorino, Hunter Pence and John Mayberry are the only three Phillies’ regulars who are in the starting lineup. Tommy Milone dominated minor league lineups all year, and today he’ll get to face something akin to a Four-A lineup.

As always, talk about the game right here.
