It’s still possible the Nationals and Mets could have themselves an undefeated, first-place showdown tomorrow in New York. First, the Nationals will have to sweep the Cubs (and the Mets will have to take another game off Atlanta).
In his first start of the year, Jordan Zimmermann returns to the site of one of his most disappointing outings. Last year, he lost at Wrigley when he allowed consecutive homers to Aramis Ramirez and Carlos Pena with two outs in the bottom of the seventh. Discuss today’s game right here.
