(Pat Sullivan - AP)
The Nationals and Giants are beginning what should be a terrific series. Both teams are in first play, and both are playing well at the moment. The Nationals have scored more runs than any other team in the NL since the all-star break at 156, and the Giants are right behind them with 151. Ryan Vogelsong, who leads the NL in ERA, will pitch tonight. Tomorrow, No. 2 in ERA, Jordan Zimmermann, will start. Two all-stars – Stephen Strasburg and tonight’s ace, Gio Gonzalez – are also down to pitch, with two-time Cy Young winner Tim Lincecum due up Wednesday. Talk about tonight’s game right here.
