Nationals-Marlins discussion thread: Game 87

(John McDonnell - THE WASHINGTON POST)
The Nationals will try take the series against the Marlins tonight, and a victory would put them 11 games ahead of Miami in the NL East.

There’s still a lot of season left, but they could essentially have one less team to worry about. Edwin Jackson will try to keep pace with the Nationals’ first three starters, who allowed two earned runs in 18 innings against the Marlins. Both managers made it seem like there will be no fireworks in the wake of the Bryce Harper-Ozzie Guillen kerfuffle, but we’ll see.

Talk about the game right here. And follow the action here.
