Nationals-Mets discussion thread: Game 54

(Lynne Sladky - AP)
Edwin Jackson, who is an unlucky 1-3 this year, will take the mound trying to continue a solid string of starts. He’ll also try to keep the Nationals’ pitching on a near-historic pace. The Nationals have struck out 8.56 batters per nine innings this season, which is the second-highest rate since 1900, behind only the 2003 Cubs. (8.68). Jackson will face rookie sinkerballer Jeremy Hefner. Talk about the game right here.
