Sunday, the Nationals end a stretch of 32 straight games against teams from the National League and American League East divisions, arguably the toughest in baseball. And so far, they’re 18-13 and widened their division lead to three and a half games entering this contest. Left-handed starter Ross Detwiler (4-3, 3.34 ERA) takes the mound for the first time since being re-inserted into the starting rotation from the bullpen.
