Davey Johnson’s wife, Susan, attended last night’s press conference. Afterward, he got up and left without even noticing her. “These games,” he said, “are driving me crazy.” The Nationals are 9-5 in one-run games with five walk-off wins and one walk-off loss. The 14 one-run games are the most in the majors. With Gio Gonzalez facing Vance Worley, the Nationals will try to take it easier on Johnson today. Talk about the game here.
By the way, I forgot to post the lineup earlier. It looks a lot like last night's, with Wilson Ramos in at catcher:
1. Ian Desmond, SS
2. Steve Lombardozzi, 3B
3. Bryce Harper, LF
4. Jayson Werth, RF
5. Chad Tracy, 1B
6. Danny Espinosa, 2B
7. Rick Ankiel, CF
8. Wilson Ramos, C
9. Gio Gonzalez, SP
