(Alex Brandon - AP)
Manager Davey Johnson certainly hopes today’s game goes better than his commute. The Nationals’ team bus got caught in the traffic produced by today’s Pride Parade through the city’s streets, and he did not arrive until about two hours before the game. Luckily, Tyler Clippard was the only player on the bus – and he won’t be needed until the ninth inning, anyway. Gio Gonzalez will try to rebound from a rare off day, pitching at a park where he has a 5.63 ERA in three starts. Talk about the game right here.
