The biggest series of the season so far, and likely since baseball returned to Washington, begins Monday night with the Nationals most effective pitcher on the mound and a healthy lineup. Jordan Zimmermann (9-7), who faces the Braves for the first time this season, leads the majors with a 2.38 ERA but has thrown only six innings once in the past three starts. Tim Hudson (12-4, 3.59 ERA) last faced the Nationals on July 1 and was tagged for five earned runs and seven hits over six innings.
