Tonight the Nationals go for a sweep in this much-anticipated series against the Braves. This could also be the last Nationals Park appearance for veteran Atlanta third baseman Chipper Jones.
Left-hander Ross Detwiler is on the mound for Washington vs. Kris Medlen for Atlanta. The Braves, who are susceptible to left-handed pitching, have adjusted their lineup to face Detwiler. They are 21-25 against left-handed pitchers this season.
