Nationals vs. Braves discussion thread: Game 94

(PATRICK SMITH - REUTERS)
For the first time this season, the Nationals face Atlanta Braves right-hander Jair Jurrjens, who sports a 3-3 record and 6.20 ERA. He has been hurt and the Nationals exposed him last season. In his last three starts against the Nationals, he has allowed 17 runs over 16 innings and five home runs. Left-hander Ross Detwiler (4-3, 3.15 ERA) is on the mound for the Nationals.

John Lannan, the hero of Saturday’s second game, walked out of the Nationals clubhouse on Sunday morning, his suitcase behind him and headed back to Class AAA Syracuse. A clubhouse attendant patted him on the back and encouraged him to keep pitching well. “I miss you guys,” Lannan answered.

As always, talk about the game here.
