Nationals vs. Mets discussion thread: Game 121

(Pat Sullivan - AP)
The Nationals didn’t lose any ground to the Atlanta Braves in the National League East race because both teams lost on Saturday night; they still hold a four-game lead. Gio Gonzalez (15-6, 3.29 ERA), who has won his past two decisions, takes the mound in the final game of the series, the last time the New York Mets will be in Washington this season. The Nationals are 5-2 in the rubber games this season. The Mets send right-hander Jeremy Hefner (2-4, 4.76 ERA) to the mound.
