The Nationals have lost three straight games. Only seven times this season have they lost at least that many games. (The longest losing streak of the year was a five-game skid in late April.) The Nationals send their most consistent starter to the mound with hopes of ending it: Jordan Zimmermann (9-7, 2.54 ERA). He will oppose Cliff Lee (2-7, 3.48 ERA), who may have the worst luck around. He leads the league in strikeout to walk ratio (6.04) but has only two wins in 22 starts.
As always, talk about the game here.
