Ryan Zimmerman’s third annual Night At The Park charity event will take place June 14, the Thursday before the Nationals face the Yankees in a weekend series at Nationals Park. The event will benefit ziMS Foundation, which Zimmerman started to raise money for a cure for multiple sclerosis, the disease his mother, Cheryl, suffers from.
The pop band Guster is the featured entertainment. Tickets have been selling at a faster rate than either of the first two years Zimmerman held the event.
Zimmerman’s contract stipulates he can use Nationals Park for ziMS one night every year. Last year, the Night At The Park raised roughly $300,000.
