Stephen Strasburg warming up for tonight’s start

The Nationals starting pitcher for tonight has emerged from the dugout and walked to the bullpen — and it’s Stephen Strasburg.

The grounds crew is wrapping up the tarp and moving it off the field. The Nationals clearly believe they will, after all, have a large enough window without rain for Strasburg to start and get three or four innings before.

The rain has stopped at Nationals Park, and while the radar calls for more tonight, it is clear for now. And barring a last-minute rain storm, it appears Stephen Strasburg will make his return to the majors, as scheduled.
