Stephen Strasburg will pitch for Potomac Friday

Stephen Strasburg will make his second rehab start Friday night, pitching for Class A Potomac in Woodbridge — just a stone’s throw (or about 20 miles) down the road from Nationals Park.

The Potomac Nationals will be opening a three-game series against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans.

The gates to Pfitzner Stadium will open at 5 p.m., the club said, and the first 2,000 fans will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win Strasburg’s autographed jersey.

Strasburg struck out four and allowed three hits in 1 2/3 innings at Hagerstown Sunday — his first competitive start since undergoing Tommy John surgery.

More from Adam Kilgore later.
