The Nationals' next two lineups

The Nationals are playing the Mets tonight in Port St. Lucie at 6 p.m., a game you can watch in the Washington-Baltimore market on MLB Network. John Lannan will start, his first chance to show the Nationals he belongs in the rotation despite contractual considerations working against him.

Bryce Harper will start in right field and bat sixth. Manager Davey Johnson has also posted his lineup for Tuesday’s game in Disney against the Braves. Note that both times Ian Desmond and Danny Espinosa have started, they’ve been batting 1-2. You can tell, clearly, how Johnson plans to top his lineup once the season starts.
