Today’s Nationals-Angels lineups, with a twist

Davey Johnson hinted yesterday he would mix up the Nationals lineup by giving a few players with nagging injuries the day off, and boy has he. Wilson Ramos (day game after night game), Jayson Werth (left knee), Ian Desmond (left quad) and Laynce Nix (right Achilles’) are all out of the starting lineup with minor ailments, leaving the Nationals with a Reverse Lock lineup against Dan Haren and the Angels. Nix, by the way, said he can still play through his sore heel, which he’s played with pretty much the entire year.
