Today’s Nationals-Diamondbacks lineups

Manager Jim Riggleman, as he said he would try to do, is cycling Roger Bernadina, Rick Ankiel and Laynce Nix in center and left. Today, he’s got Ankiel in center and Bernadina in left, with Nix, who has homered in three of his last four starts, on the bench. Against a left-hander, Zach Duke, perhaps Riggleman is choosing his best defensive outfield. Also, for the second straight game against a lefty, Danny Espinosa will bat fifth.
