Today’s Nationals-Phillies lineups

Jason Marquis will try to continue what has by far been his best stretch with the Nationals. Marquis is 3-0 with a 2.62 ERA, and he’s coming off a five-out, 96-pitch shutout against the Giants.

Rick Ankiel is out of the lineup after the Nationals had apparently planned for him to play center. He missed last night’s game, too, after he hurt his right hand Monday night. Jerry Hairston is back in center field, with Alex Cora playing third.
