Today’s Nationals lineup

Laynce Nix will get another day off despite a right-hander, Chad Billingsley, on the mound for the Dodgers. Rick Ankiel, who’s swinging a hot bat, is in center and Roger Bernadina is back in the lineup, playing left.

Meanwhile, in Scranton, Pa., Chien-Ming Wang is getting ready to take the mound against the Yankees’ Class AAA affiliate for Syracuse. The Chiefs are batting in the top of the first as I type this. (Man of the hour Stephen Lombardozzi led off with a walk.) Unless he suffers a surprise setback, this will be the final start before Wang joins the Nationals.

Nationals

1. Roger Bernadina, LF

2. Danny Espinosa, 2B

3. Ryan Zimmerman, 3B

4. Michael Morse, 1B

5. Jayson Werth, RF

6. Rick Ankiel, CF

7. Jesus Flores, C

8. Ian Desmond, SS

9. Jason Marquis, SP
