Today’s Nationals-Reds lineups

After playing his first game in center field this season on Wednesday, Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth is back at right field and Roger Bernadina returns to center for the home opener against the Reds.

Werth will also be back at fifth in the lineup, facing Reds’ pitcher Mat Latos, a righter-hander born in Alexandria who lost his first start of the season after allowing four runs on sevens hits in 4 2/3 innings. Bernadina will bat seventh, and Xavier Nady returns to left field and will bat sixth. It’s the outfield configuration the Nationals have used much of the season so far.

“(I’m) still letting the players dictate to me what’s our best offense with who in left and who in center and who in right,” Manager Davey Johnson said. “So that’s still kind of a work in progress. But I like the cast of characters.”

4. Adam Laroche, 1B

5. Jayson Werth, RF

6. Xavier Nady, LF
