Michael Morse returns, Bryce Harper out: Nationals vs. Cubs lineups: Game 135

Michael Morse returns to action after being pulled in the fourth inning of Monday’s game with an announced thumb injury. Nationals Manager Davey Johnson said it was a hand/thumb injury, the area where he was hit by a pitch two weeks ago. Morse said his hand didn’t hurt and wasn’t sure why he was pulled.

Bryce Harper sits against a left-handed pitcher and Tyler Moore starts in left field. Outfielder Corey Brown was activated this afternoon from Class AAA Syracuse.
