Nationals-Phillies discussion thread: Game 161

The Nationals filed through their clubhouse this afternoon wearing the same, haggard look of a college student who overslept. All regulars but Bryce Harper and Adam LaRoche are out of the lineup. We assume Davey Johnson wants to give LaRoche the maximum chance to get more RBI and reach 100, and to let Harper pad his numbers for the rookie of the year case. Tom Gorzelanny can throw about 65 pitches tonight, and then it’s time for Johnny Wholestaff. The Phillies are running out their own version, starting with B.J. Rosenberg.
