After a two-year hiatus, the Nationals brought back NatsFast and will host it on Jan. 26 at the Washington Convention Center, with doors opening at 12 p.m. for general admission ticket holders. The event is designed to generate interest for the upcoming season, and will include meet-and-greet and autograph sessions with players, games, food, stands selling team gear and tickets and more.
Tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12, with discounts for 2013 season ticket holders. For more information, check the Nationals Web site.
Below is the list of players and team personnel scheduled to appear at the event. There are some notable absences, such as Stephen Strasburg (who is hosting a charity event in San Diego to benefit his former college’s baseball program on the same day) and Ryan Zimmerman (who was recently married and is traveling on his honeymoon.) General Manager Mike Rizzo and principal owner Mark Lerner, along with the TV and radio personalities, are scheduled to attend.
