Nationals-Marlins lineups

Bryce Harper and Denard Span are both out of Tuesday’s lineup with the flu. Tyler Moore is playing left, starting for the second straight day. Roger Bernadina is playing center fielder and making his first start in his stead.

It’s unusual for Johnson to rest two left-handers against right-handed Alex Sanabia, but he has strange reverse splits. Right-handers hit .318 off of him, while left-handers hit only .219.

Adam LaRoche returns to the lineup after Johnson sat him to get Moore some at-bats. Danny Espinosa is out for the second straight day with a sore right wrist, which was hit by a pitch on Sunday, and plans to return the soonest on Wednesday.
