Ross Detwiler (1-0, 0.90 ERA), the Nationals best pitcher so far this season, hopes to continue his dominating start to the season. He has pitched at least six innings in all three of his starts, allowed an earned run in only two of them and struck out 11 total batters. His ERA of 0.90 leads the National League among starters and opponents are hitting only .224 against him. Detwiler’s last start against the Cardinals was in Game 4, a stellar performance in which he allowed one unearned run over six innings. He is opposed by Adam Wainwright (3-1, 2.48 ERA), who has walked zero batters and struck out 28 this season. The lineups are here. As always, vent about the game here.
