Tonight’s Nationals-Braves lineups

The possible “changes” Manager Davey Johnson referred to after the Nationals were shutout last night will not be major, at least not today. As Bryce Harper remains out of the lineup, Steve Lombardozzi replaces Tyler Moore in left field. Aside from that, it’s basically the same lineup they Nationals have been using.

If Harper does not enter as a pinch hitter tonight, he will have sat out for five straight days. At some point, a trip to the disabled list will have to become an option for Harper. Without him in the lineup, though, the Nationals are 2-9 this year, compared to 25-18 when he starts.

The Braves have an interesting twist to their lineup. Jason Heyward is playing center field with B.J. Upton on the bench and Evan Gattis, who crushed a homer off Strasburg earlier this year, in left.
