Today’s Nationals-Mets lineups

Jonathan Newton/TWP

The Nationals made a surprising roster move this morning, calling up reliever Erik Davis from Class AAA Syracuse and sending down utility man Jeff Kobernus. It turns out Ross Detwiler has stiffness in his lower back, and Manager Davey Johnson needs an extra reliever because he wants to keep Ross Ohlendorf in reserve, should he have to start in Detwiler’s place Wednesday. We’ll move more on the move and Detwiler’s status shortly.

Taylor Jordan is in the clubhouse, walking around like a guy who just found a $20 bill on the floor. He faces Dillon Gee.
