Nationals-Padres discussion thread: Game 88

Katherine Frey/The Washington Post

Since May 11, Stephen Strasburg leads all major league starters with a 1.29 ERA. The next closest is Jeff Locker of the Pirates with a 1.59 ERA in that span. One start during that stretch came against the Padres in San Diego, in which Strasburg pitched into the eighth inning for the first time in his career. He beat the Padres in a 6-2 win in which he allowed two runs, one earned, over eight innings and struck out four. He is opposed by left-hander Robbie Erlin (1-1, 4.34 ERA). The lineups are here. As always, discuss the game here.
