The Nationals are using their standard lineup against Marlins right-handed starter Jacob Turner. Denard Span’s hitting streak was snapped at 29 games on Thursday night. The Nationals are five games back of the Cincinnati Reds, and five in the loss column, with nine games to play. Bryce Harper is hitting .412 (14 for 34) with a .447 on-base percentage since he took time off to rest his left hip.
