The Nationals-Tigers game in Lakeland appears to be jeopardy. There is a tarp on the Joker Merchant Stadium field and malice in the forecast.

If the Nationals do play, Tanner Roark will face off against a Tigers starter other than Anibal Sanchez, who was scratched with inflammation in his shoulder. Old friend Steve Lombardozzi is leading off for Detroit. A number of solid regulars made the trip for the Nationals.
