Jayson Werth returns to the Nationals lineup on Sunday after only pinch-hitting on Saturday. He exited Friday’s game late with groin tightness but said he felt better after Saturday after running around during batting practice and shagging flyballs.

The Nationals play their first game without third baseman Ryan Zimmerman for the next month or so. Anthony Rendon will primarily man third in his place while Danny Espinosa will play second. Kevin Frandsen and recently-called-up infielder Zach Walters are options, too.
