Update, 6:19 p.m.: The Nationals announced that Bryce Harper was scratched from the lineup with left quad tightness.

Update, 6:16 p.m.: Bryce Harper was scratched from the lineup an hour before the start of the game. No reason was provided by the team but he had been dealing with a tight left quad since Friday. He had been receiving treatment on the muscle since then but still played. He left Monday’s game in the seventh inning because of it but started Tuesday and played nearly every inning of the blowout loss. He said the injury is minor.
