Anthony Rendon is leading off for the fifth straight time and sixth time this season while Denard Span is out with a concussion. He is hitting .345 (19 for 55) this season, but .300 (6 for 20) with a .364 on-base percentage from the leadoff spot. Jose Lobaton, who has started only twice in the past six games, is starting and catching Tanner Roark.
