Nationals-Cardinals discussion thread: Game 18

The Nationals exorcised their team-wide demons against the Cardinals last night. This afternoon, Jordan Zimmermann will have a chance to snap his personal funk against them. In seven career starts against St. Louis, including Game 2 of the 2012 NLDS, Zimmermann is 0-4 with an 8.59 ERA. He’s allowed them 51 hits in 36 2/3 innings with six walks.

Lance Lynn faces a lineup he has some history with, too — Jayson Werth’s walk-off homer in Game 4 came off Lynn.

Talk about the game right here.
